No longer able to hear God in her work with trafficking victims, a young nun returns home from overseas with the intention of beginning a secular life--until prompted by the family priest and the death of her mother into a period of discernment. When an old flame and family friend re-enters her life, the answers become even more elusive in this swirling tale of memory, family secrets, and regret.
